The family was eating breakfast when Shauna turned to her mother.
"Zoe's going to bring her dog when she comes over. Is that okay?"
Her mother nodded.
"Sure, as long as Mason and Dixon don't treat him like a chew toy."
At the sound of their names, the two black Labs thumped their tails on the kitchen floor. They were sitting near Laura, having learned that the four year-old was the one most likely to drop some food on the floor. Laura was, in fact, lifting a precariously filled spoon of Cap'n Crunch to her mouth when she paused in mid-action.
"Zoe's dog is Randy," she informed everyone in a knowledgeable tone.
The top piece of yellow cereal surrendered to gravity and tumbled to the floor. Before it reached there, Dixon lunched and caught it in mid-air. The girls' father leaned sideways to address the dog.
"Nice catch, but you should try chewing before swallowing."
Dixon replied by licking his chops and settling back in wait for the next treat. Laura giggled and shook her head, making her brown hair shake.
"So you get to play with three dogs," Laura," her mother said. "Try to not wear them out."
Eight year-old Gwyneth, the middle child, gave Shauna a sly grin. She had been a little wobbly yesterday after losing her cherry to Mason and then getting her ass opened by Dixon. But despite being a little sore, she had confided to Shauna last night that she wanted to do it again. Today, she would be gone, doing something with her Brownie troop. So Zoe and Shauna had decided to get Laura broken in.
They weren't concerned about Laura keeping a secret. Six months earlier, she had wandered in on the two eleven year-olds as they were naked and fooling around on Shauna's bed. Concerned at first, they asked Laura to keep what she saw a secret. Entrusted with a big girl secret, she had solemnly nodded; her hazel eyes huge. Then the little girl had watched them for a while then asked for a cookie before going back to her room to play. And she never spoke a word about it.
After breakfast, it was just Shauna and Laura by themselves when Zoe arrived with Randy, a medium-sized dog and a product of numerous breeds. They went up to Shauna's bedroom with all three dogs and Laura in tow.
